Philip Deslippe is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has written articles for several academic journals and popular magazines such as Yoga Journal and Tricycle: The Buddhist Review. In 2011 he edited and introduced a new and definitive edition of The Kybalion for Tarcher/Penguin which has since been translated into three other languages.
