About the Author

DEAN RADIN, Ph.D., is a senior scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and adjunct faculty in the department of psychology at Sonoma State University. For over two decades he has been engaged in consciousness research. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at Princeton University and several Silicon Valley think tanks, including Interval Research Corporation and SRI International, where he worked on a classified program investigating psychic phenomena for the U.S. government. He is author or coauthor of over 250 technical and popular articles, three dozen book chapters, and four books including the award-winning The Conscious Universe (HarperOne, 1997), Entangled Minds (Simon & Schuster, 2006), the 2014 Silver Nautilus Book Award winner, SUPERNORMAL (Random House, 2013), and Real Magic (Crown, 2018).
