Ed Conroy

Ed Conroy is the author of Report on Communion (Morrow, 1989; Avon, 1990), the result of his yearlong investigation into the life and work of Whitley Strieber, author of the best-selling UFO abduction narrative Communion: A True Story and numerous other related nonfiction books and novels. Conroy also edited Combating Cult Mind Control by Steven Hassan for Inner Traditions International. Educated in the School of Critical Studies at California Institute of the Arts, Conroy has also studied at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the University of Texas at San Antonio. A former arts writer and columnist for the San Antonio Express-News, he serves as Development Director for Southwest School of Art, also in San Antonio, Texas.
